Terms of Service
Effective 11 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Supermix website at supermix.io and the Supermix Studio, the workspace where Supermix (“Supermix”, “we”, “us”) delivers podcast production work and, where you ask us to, publishes it to your channels.
If your organisation has a services agreement with us, that agreement governs scope, fees, deliverables and liability, and wins wherever it conflicts with these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our terms for connected Google accounts add specific commitments for YouTube channels.
1. The service and your account
Supermix produces podcast content for its customers: editing, transcripts, clips, show notes, artwork and related work. The Studio is where you review that work, approve deliverables and manage the channels we publish to. You must be authorised to act for the organisation you sign in on behalf of, keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and you are responsible for what is done through your account, including by team members you invite.
2. Connected accounts
You can connect third-party accounts, such as a YouTube channel or an Instagram professional account, so that Supermix can publish content to them on your behalf. When you connect an account:
- You confirm you are authorised to grant that access for the account and the organisation it belongs to.
- You authorise us to publish, schedule and update content on that account. We publish only content that you or your team have requested and approved, with the details you approve.
- The platform’s own terms continue to apply to you. For Google and YouTube, see our terms for connected Google accounts. For Instagram, the Instagram Terms of Use and the Meta Terms of Service apply, and you remain responsible for making sure what we publish for you complies with those platforms’ terms and policies.
- We store the access tokens platforms issue encrypted and use them only to publish what you ask us to. You can disconnect an account at any time from the connections page in the Studio, or by removing Supermix’s access in the platform’s own settings; we then revoke the grant where the platform allows it and delete our copy of the tokens. Content already published stays on the platform under your control.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the recordings, artwork, text and other material you give us, and of the finished deliverables we produce for you. You grant us the licence we need to store, process, edit and publish that material to provide the service, and you confirm you hold the rights and permissions needed for anything you ask us to publish, including music, guest appearances and third-party material. The Supermix website, the Studio and the software behind them remain ours.
4. Acceptable use
Do not ask us to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or in breach of a platform’s terms or community guidelines, and do not interfere with the service, attempt to access other customers’ data or probe our security. We may decline to publish something, or suspend access, if we reasonably believe these terms or a platform’s rules are being broken.
5. Third-party platforms and liability
YouTube, Instagram and other platforms control their own services. We are not responsible for actions they take, such as removing content, restricting accounts, changing their APIs or having outages, though we will do our best to work around them and keep you informed. Where a services agreement is in place, it sets out the warranties and limits of liability between us. Otherwise, the website and the Studio are provided with reasonable skill and care but “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
6. Changes and contact
You can stop using the Studio at any time and disconnect any accounts you have connected. We may update these terms from time to time; we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Questions about these terms? Email ops@supermix.io.
